A surgeon who has performed 2,000 hip replacements holds an E-E-A-T advantage no content farm can fabricate. The entire problem is making that advantage legible to the systems now deciding which surgeon a patient finds first.

Layer 1 · Video

Two minutes of the surgeon explaining their approach carries more experience signal than ten pages of written copy. It demonstrates all four E-E-A-T components at once, it is indexable, and YouTube remains the second-largest search engine. One afternoon per consultant if planned properly.

Layer 2 · Authored long-form

An article written by the doctor on a topic within their subspecialty — not a profile page about them. Proper byline, Physician schema attached, references to published literature, and a review stamp if a colleague checked it.

Layer 3 · Structured data

The profile page carries the Physician entity: qualifications, registration number, specialties, affiliations, sameAs links, and a list of authored content. This is what makes layers one and two machine-readable rather than merely impressive.

Why most hospital profiles fail

The standard doctor profile is a photograph, a list of degrees, and a marketing paragraph. Thirty years of clinical experience compressed into a bio a model cannot distinguish from any other bio on the site.
