BYour side of it
What this costs you in time
The usual reason a consultant does not do any of this is not money. It is that the last agency wanted four hours a month and sent a questionnaire. Here is the honest number and what we need it for.
What we ask from you
~90 minin the first month, then about 30 minutes a month — our standard scope, not an average we have measured
- One 45-minute call to start. About your practice, not about you
- 20 minutes a month talking through one condition, in the words you use with patients. We record it
- 10 minutes a month correcting the clinical content of what we drafted
- Four decisions in the first month, listed on the right
What we do not ask for
- No questionnaire
- No writing. You talk, we draft, you correct
- No approval queue. One reviewer, you
- No weekly status call
- No access to patient records, ever
- No social media passwords. We draft, you or your office publish
B.1The four decisions
Only you can make these, and they are not difficult
| Decision | Why it is yours |
|---|---|
| Which conditions we write about first | You know which ones you want to be known for and which you would rather not grow |
| What goes on the take-down list | Some of it will be your hospital’s material, and that is a conversation only you can have |
| Whether to publish your consultation fee | Expressly permitted, and the single highest-demand page you could own. Many consultants still say no, and that is a legitimate answer |
| Which awards stay on the wall | We will tell you which cannot be independently verified. What you display is your call |
B.2How the twenty minutes works
You have already explained it a thousand times
- We ask you one question — the one your patients ask most about a condition you chose.
- You answer it the way you answer it in clinic. Not written, not formal, not for publication.
- We transcribe and draft. Marketing copy, written by a non-clinician, labelled as such.
- You correct the clinical content. Ten minutes with a pen. If you will not put your name to a sentence, it does not go in.
- We check it against the rules and publish it with your registration details attached.
That is the whole method. The reason it works is that the material already exists — it is in the explanation you give across the desk every day, and nobody has ever written it down.
Ninety minutes in month one. Thirty a month after that.
If we cannot work inside that, the engagement is wrong and we will say so rather than quietly asking for more of your time.
