STEP 06 OF 6Compound phase

It breaks quietly, and nothing tells you.

A website update can undo two quarters of work without anyone noticing, because a broken page looks exactly like a working one. So somebody looks, every month.

We call this step Continuity. You can call it keeping it working.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DOSTEP 06
  • Re-check every month that the invisible information still works
  • Track which of your doctors get named by ChatGPT, Google's AI, Perplexity and Gemini — and whether it is improving
  • Flag clinical pages that need a doctor to re-read and re-date them
  • Refresh the content that is slipping, rather than always writing new
  • Report against enquiries and patients. Never impressions.

What actually goes wrong

A theme update, a plugin change, a developer tidying something up — and the invisible information that tells machines who wrote your articles simply stops working. There is no error message and no warning email. We have found hospital sites where this had been broken for over a year.

And medical content decays

Protocols change. Evidence supersedes. A drug gets a new approval. A page written in 2021 with no review date on it is a trust problem before it is a ranking problem — and in Australia and India both, an out-of-date clinical claim is a regulatory one too.

If this is skipped

Everything you paid for slowly stops working, and you find out from a quiet quarter rather than from a dashboard.
